The Candidate Solicitation Committee (the “CSC”) is an ad hoc committee formed for the purpose of managing the nomination process for positions to be filled on the Board of Directors (the “Board”) in preparation for elections by the General Meeting. Its primary mission is to independently review the applications received for the various positions available on the 2026 Board. We invite you to submit your candidacy to fill the five (5) available positions on the CSC.
Here is some important information
• The CSC is composed of eight (8) members, including five (5) CREW M members. Three (3) are ex-officio members: the President, the President-Elect and the Past-President.
• To be eligible to apply for a seat on the CSC, you must be a member in good standing, not have served on the CSC in the last two years, and not currently be a member of any committee.
Process and role of a CSC member
The nomination period for Board vacancies will run from June 2, 2025 to July 18, 2025. At the close of the nomination period, the CSC reviews the applications submitted. It verifies the candidates’ willingness to serve the Chapter’s interests, and assesses their qualifications and experience. To this end, the CSC plans to meet in August. Once the analysis is complete, the committee will prepare a formal recommendation for the Board and the General Meeting, specifying the names of the candidates recommended for each position up for election. These recommendations will be tabled at the August 2025 Board meeting, then published and distributed in accordance with the deadlines set out in the by-laws, in preparation for the General Meeting of members.
We invite you to apply for a seat on the CSC no later than May 7, 2025, by sending an e-mail including your full contact details and explaining why you would like to join the CSC, to gestion@crewm.com.
