A word from the President
Dear members,
It is with great pride and a strong sense of responsibility that I continue my term as President of CREW M.
I would first like to thank everyone who attended our Annual General Meeting on February 25—your engagement and presence are what make our community so strong.
At CREW M, our impact is built on the connections we foster. I am especially proud to work alongside a diverse Board of Directors—reflecting both our network and the evolution of our industry. Together, we are actively moving things forward.
A vision in action
In our last newsletter, we shared with you our five-year strategic planning process. In the coming weeks, we look forward to unveiling our key priorities and strategic objectives, the first of which were recently unveiled during our Volunteer Kick-off event.
A program aligned with your expectations
In our most recent annual survey, many of you expressed a desire to go further—with more content focused on management and leadership, as well as practical workshops and expert panels.
We are pleased to share that our 2026 programming reflects these ambitions.
2026 programming: a series of vibrant events
- On March 24, we held our first signature event of the year: the 50-50 Cocktail—an evening that was both meaningful, authentic, and deeply inspiring. The discussions highlighted key issues for our industry: parity within organizations, the strength of mentorship, and the importance of mutual amplification among industry stakeholders. One conclusion stood out clearly: parity is a true strength. When we work together, we go further—collectively.
- A Speed Connect was held on April 23 at the renowned Montego restaurant to expand our membership base in Quebec City.
Upcoming events include:
- May 21 – As part of our Leadership Series, a Leadership Lunch on crisis management and leadership, led by André Hudon, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Canada Post, at the Fairmont The Queen Elizabeth
- June 3 – A summer networking cocktail in collaboration with BOMA Quebec, at Royalmount, to expand your network
- June 5 – A golf clinic at Club de golf Royal Québec to help you prepare for our annual golf tournament
- July 13 – Our signature annual golf tournament at the exclusive Pinegrove Golf Club in Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu, to bring you closer
I encourage you to visit our website and mark your calendars.
Visibility and expertise
CREW M is proud to continue its active involvement in the Montreal Real Estate Forum, a flagship event in our industry, which I have the privilege of co-chairing this year. The participation of several of our members in the program reflects the depth and caliber of our network.
I would also like to highlight our partnership with Informa and thank them for promoting the Directory of Women’s Expertise in Commercial Real Estate. This tool aims to showcase professionals across our industry and provide organizations with a concrete solution to advance gender parity.
We count on you—every profile strengthens this collective. If you haven’t already, I encourage you to visit our website under Directories, update your profile, or sign up.
Strategic alliances
Our collaborations with key partners such as Informa and BOMA allow us to expand our reach and deliver even greater value to our members.
I am also pleased to inform you of a new strategic partnership recently concluded with the Association of Québec Women in Finance. Through this collaboration, CREW M members had the opportunity to benefit from member pricing to attend their Grand Entretien event with Laurence Vincent, President of Prével, on April 23.
And this is only the beginning—more partnerships are in the works, and I look forward to sharing them with you soon.
Development and engagement
Alongside our monthly events, our mentorship program continues with the 2026 cohort, launched in February. This program remains a cornerstone of our members’ professional development, as we believe experience is not only gained—it is also shared and passed on.
I would also like to warmly congratulate the participants of the Connections & Growth workshops, who are about to complete a journey rich in learning and meaningful exchanges, focused on unlocking their full potential. These initiatives reflect our commitment to creating spaces for growth that are both structured, inspiring, and deeply human.
What’s next…
We still have much more to share, including in our next newsletter on August 25.
In the meantime, I encourage you to stay engaged and actively participate in CREW M activities. Whether through our events or programs, there are many opportunities to grow your network and strengthen your skills.
For those interested in becoming more involved, four positions will be opening on the 2027–2028 Board of Directors. I invite you to consider this unique leadership opportunity within our organization. Stay tuned for the upcoming call for applications and related information sessions.
Finally, for members interested in expanding their international network, the CREW Network Convention will take place from September 23 to 25 in Miami. Early registration will open in June, and I would be delighted to have you join the 2026 delegation alongside more than 1,400 industry professionals gathered to network, learn, and do business together.
In closing
Thank you to each and every one of you for contributing to making CREW M a strong, engaged, and forward-looking community.
I would also like to extend my sincere thanks to our partners, whose support and trust enable us to deliver a high-quality program, advance our initiatives, and grow our impact within the industry.
I look forward to seeing you soon,
Jenny-Kate
