Brett Miller has 30 years of experience in the commercial real estate industry and the management of high growth entrepreneurial businesses in both North America and Europe.

He started his career with Canderel (1986-1992) and rejoined in February 2019 as its Chief Executive Officer, taking over from Jon Wener who remains on as Chairman. Brett Miller is responsible for setting the strategic vision of Canderel, the oversight of all operations, 3rd party service businesses and the deployment of the company’s capital in a diverse portfolio of real estate projects across North America.

Prior to Canderel, Brett Miller was the CEO of JLL Canada. When he joined the company in 2012 it had a small footprint in Canada with a staff of 150. During his 6 year tenure he grew the company by a factor of 10 through organic growth, the completion of 5 acquisitions and the launch of multiple new business lines. Through his leadership JLL became a leading national competitor in the real estate services industry in Canada. He held a similar role for CBRE from 2001-2012 during which time as its EVP Eastern Canada he grew CBRE into a dominant real estate services company in the region. Prior to 2001 Brett worked in London as the General Manager of a new venture owned by News International and in Paris creating and running a start-up logistics business.

Brett Miller received his MBA from INSEAD and his Bachelor of Commerce in Finance from McGill University. His charitable and community activities include the INSEAD Alumni Endowment Fund Trustee, Chair of The Missing Children’s Network Gala, BOMA Canada Advisory Board and the leadership of The Defi Canderel.

Louise N. Pelletier has been practicing real estate and business law for over 30 years. As Vice President, Legal Affairs at Carbonleo Real Estate Inc. she is primarily involved in the development, financing and acquisition of large-scale commercial real estate projects. Ms. Pelletier leads a team of lawyers who support the management and leasing teams for all projects under the company’s management. Ms. Pelletier is also responsible for corporate governance practices and human resources. She is a member of CREW Montréal.

Mylène Forest is a seasoned professional and manager recognized in many sectors of the real estate industry for her rigor and key roles in several large-scale organizations, including that of Vice-President-Real Estate Management for Groupe BRIVIA, after having played a key role in the repositioning of the Rockhill complex with COGIR Immobilier, following several years in private management, notably for Gestion Forest-Morency. Mylène has developed in-depth expertise in the management, acquisition and development of residential and commercial real estate assets. Today, Mylène continues to work as a real estate consultant-expert, helping owners, entrepreneurs and investors optimize their real estate portfolios and maximize their rental yields.

In addition to her work, Mylène stands out for her commitment to the real estate community as a member of the CORPIQ Board of Directors and its President from 2011 to 2017 and 2021 to 2023. Also an active member of CREW-M, having served as President from 2022-2023, Mylène continues to make this association shine through her involvement and mentoring role. She also recently joined the Board of Directors of the Fondation du Centre jeunesse de la Montérégie, having fallen in love with the cause and the Projet Clé, of which she was one of the initiators in 2015, and which offers vulnerable young adults the chance to pursue their studies and a better future.

WAYNE HEUFF

Wayne joined Claridge in 2016. He is responsible for the management of Claridge’s real estate investment platform leading a team of real estate investment professionals. Wayne and his team source and underwrite new potential investments, conduct the requisite due diligence, negotiate the terms of investment with development partners and coordinate the closing of investments. During the life of an investment, the real estate team is actively involved in managing the investment and our development partners, including the disposition of completed investments.

Prior to joining Claridge, Wayne owned and operated a real estate advisory business for 20 years, which focused on asset management, due diligence, development management and corporate advisory work for private investors, public companies and financial institutions. He started his real estate career with Canderel, and also worked for Trizec and Cadim (a former Ivanhoe Cambridge entity). Wayne serves as Chairman of the Board of Directors of the MAA and was a trustee of Canmarc REIT, prior to its acquisition by Cominar.

Wayne attended Concordia University (Bachelor of Commerce, Finance Major) and serves on the John Molson School of Business Advisory Board for the Jonathan Wener Centre for Real Estate at Concordia University.
