Facade inspection under Bill 122: combining safety and innovation

Facade inspection is a requirement under Bill 122 aimed at ensuring public safety and preserving building integrity over time. This process makes it possible to identify potentially hazardous conditions and document the condition of the building envelope components.

To carry out thorough inspections, we combine proven methodologies with advanced technologies. Visual inspections are performed using high-performance binoculars, cameras and drones, allowing us to capture detailed imagery of areas that are difficult to access.

Hands-on material verification is conducted by specialized rope-access masonry technicians under the supervision of our team. This intervention confirms the condition of building components, identifies signs of deterioration, and assesses potential risks.

Anchor assessment can also be carried out using a borescope camera. This method allows us to observe the condition of anchors within assemblies while minimizing invasive interventions.

We also provide repair design and specification services, including the preparation of plans, technical specifications, and quantity take-offs, facilitating the planning and execution of corrective work and construction site monitoring. Our integrated approach ensures reliable, safe inspections tailored to the specific needs of each building.
